Seattle
Homes and Lifestyles Magazine
has awarded Bainbridge Island
architect Peter Manning their
Home of the Year Award for
his residence at South Beach on Bainbridge Island. The house appears in
their current September issue.
The annual award is a juried
competition which recognizes excellence in
architecture and interior design for single-family residences in the greater
Seattle region.
The Manning House is a 3500 square foot shingle-style dwelling inspired
by the maritime architecture of New England. It was constructed by general
contractor Monte Hall, also of Bainbridge Island.
The Manning House will also be published in
Fine
Homebuilding Magazine
in the February 2001 issue.
